Annual General Meetings
The Brampton Downtown Development Corporation holds two Annual General Meetings (AGM) each year.
Spring Annual General Meeting
The Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements are presented at the Spring AGM. Members are given the opportunity to ask questions and provide suggestions for improvement. Each year two directors are elected at the AGM (One from the Tenant Class and One from the Owner Class).
Fall Annual General Meeting
The Annual Budget is presented at the Fall AGM. The Board of Directors must approve this proposed budget before it is presented to the City Council.
BDDC 6th Annual General Meeting
The BDDC will be hosting its 6th Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, April 24th at the Rose Theatre Studio.
We will be holding the election for the BDDC Board of Directors for the Property Owner Class. Here are links to information about the voting process as well as the proxy form and instructions. Post AGM Update
The annual General Meeting of the Brampton Downtown Development Corporation was held in the Rose Theatre on April 24th with an estimated 50+ members in attendance.
Mayor Susan Fennell addressed the members and spoke about the vision for downtown, the collaboration between the BDDC and the City and the promising future that is ahead of us.
Keynote Speaker Ken Greenberg, author of Walking Home spoke for 40 minutes on his observations of the attributes of Brampton Downtown and identified the enhancement of lane ways, as was done in Melbourne, Australia and the integration of all transit as being major advantages that Brampton Downtown holds in the GTA.
